Poor Meg - Some Quick Pics

I'm still trying to figure out what to do about her wig, but it's smoother and slightly more tame for washing and conditioning it.  I also snipped some strays.

Mika's Room

A little display shelf made up to look like Mika's bedroom.

 

 The chair is a pincushion from JoAnn Fabrics, the chest of drawers I hope to repaint so they match his room a bit more. All of the toys were found in vending machines or are little miniatures clearanced out at the toy store.

Didi in the Afternoon

I made her a little sweater out of an arm warmer. And, as always, I noticed her right eye is askew. After uploading pictures and putting her away. Oy.  I will get better at this!

Before and After with Mika

So I dragged out a lamp to snap some pictures of Mika in his room.  And as always, my camera fibbed and showed me a preview that looked great for each shot.  As you will see, I had to Shoop several of them. :/

So, I also noticed in the aftermath that his eyes have derped out.  Grr!  Why do I never spot these things before the pictures? >C
Anyway, I am not happy with the afters of any of the shots, even though they are better than the originals.  I just am still trying to figure out how to take pictures of a doll inside a book shelf without shadows everywhere. :/

I obviously need wider shelves, or something.  Barely enough room!

So, as a side note, I'm getting pretty frustrated with my camera.  Sometimes my shots turn out beautiful and clear, other times blurry.  But the previews always make the shots look really crisp!  I want honest previews, stupid camera! >C
